Went to evensong at Clare College, Cambridge

A friend of mine is a Clare College alum, and frequently goes to Evensong on Sunday evenings. She invited me and another friend of ours to last Sunday's service. It started out with a tremendous organ recital at 5:30, and then the service started at 6. 

The music was gorgeous (obviously), the sermon was extremely thoughtful and interesting, and the whole thing was really lovely. As a happy Presbyterian, I'm always a little bit startled by Anglican communion (you want me to drink WHAT from WHERE?), but it was excellent to attend such a well-thought out service with such fabulous music. More, please!

Even the weather cooperated - it was a stunning evening.
